Workers health protection is the most important aspect of any production. An efficient system of personnel care and recovery functions at PJSC “Ilyich Iron and Steel Works of Mariupol” which is grounded on early diagnostics and preventive health care.
On the base of the companies` polyclinic a unique medical and diagnostic center was created with the most up-to-date medical equipment. In multi-type medical institution the medical care of the workers is carried out by 24 departments and services. Also single-functioned workers can propose their help.
In medical and diagnostic center are functioning: computer and MR-imager; mammograph; universal digital X-ray diagnostic device; cardiographs; Cardiosoft-Holter system; ultrasonic scanning, endoscopy, clinical, biochemic laboratories apparatus; medical combine equipment for otolaryngologic and ophthalmologic consulting rooms; equipment for stomatologic, physiotherapeutic services; digital fluorography.
The center`s personnel is continuously advancing their level of competence taking part at seminars and continuing its education at the best medical centers in Ukraine.
The company has provided its workers with the wide opportunities to get qualified medical assistance. All types of medical examinations are performed in the diagnostic and treatment center including the one performed before employment which allows more qualitatively to look after workers health, effectively conduct the needed rehabilitation course and preventive measures.
13 aid-posts operate on the territory of the Works including first-aid station. The special technics park for emergency calls and rendering emergency is being renovated. The new ambulances meet the modern technical requirements and are supplied with special medical equipment.
Medical insurance program functions at PJSC “Ilyich Iron and Steel Works”. The insurance gives the company`s workers the right to get the required consultation at the polyclinic and medicine. If necessary to receive treatment not only in the best hospitals of the city but also the best clinics of Ukraine.
The medical and diagnostic center of the company was one of the first among medical institutions of Mariupol to enter medical certificates processing and accounting automation system which allows to improve quality of company`s personal servicing and treatment.
