At the sinter plant of PJSC“MMK Ilyich”, an affiliate of Metinvest Group, the capital repair of the agglomachine No11 has been finished. The repair of the machine, which cost is about UAH 50 M, was finished in 62 days.
Machine discharging part and environment protection equipment capital repair was performed; cyclone cell system basalt moulds were changed, ignition furnace replacement by the new one with improved characteristics was performed, also agglomachine shell and drive were replaced.
The repair of fines and iron ore concentrate baking machine, designed for finished sinter production and cooling, was performed by Works’ staff.
“As a result of the repair the agglomachine No11, which rated capacity is 125 t of sinter per hour, is shifted to the automated control system based on the programmable logic controllers. Thus its functioning was improved and personnel working conditions were considerably facilitated”, Sergey Matvienkov, First Deputy of “MMKI” General Director, emphasized. “The quality of functioning of the machine’s nature conservation equipment was improved. When performing repairs PJSC “MMKI”, an affiliate of Metinvest Group, pays a lot of attention to the reconstruction and upgrading of the treatment facilities”.
